Does this Trek accept 28mm front and rear tires? I'm wanting to build one like it but the Zipp wheels for better performance indicate 28 mm wheels. I saw something on the TREK website that the bike's specifications limit 25 in the front and 28 in the back.

does the SLR9 come with the BTA bottle? At a $10k+ price point Trek should include a $100 accessory...

Most people really need to know how to change the tire on the side of the road.

Is that drink bottle even usable? Seriously looks like you would fumble and drop it while on the bike or it would just blow our of your hands.

Without the wide carbon fiber wheels, it looks like a muscular man with chicken legs

I so salute you. I was paralyzed as a result of an accident when 54. Had done Ironman Canada 2x before injury (as well as NZ, US, etc.). I got in the pool first time post accident and was blown away by fact that I thought I was going to drown. Can't swim freestyle half a lap. Not going for Ironman at this stage of life. But definitely getting out there. Loved your story. Admire your effort and drive. Inspirational!
